A letter of thanks

"Many thanks for your extremely kind donation of a DeLonghi Coffee Maker for our annual charity raffle.  As I told you, here in the SSC New Malden, every Christmas I organise a Charity Xmas raffle where I ask our suppliers if they would be prepared to donate a gift that we are able to raffle off in our raffle.  

Last year, in New Malden alone we raised in excess of £3,800 for our chosen charity, the Alzhiemer’s Society which Hays as a company doubled, which meant that the SSC donated at Xmas nearly £8,000.   This year our corporate charity has changed and it is now the Brain Tumour Charity – as mentioned this type of cancer kills more people under the age of 40 than any other cancer."

Jack Tizard is a day school for pupils aged 2-19 years with a range of severe learning difficulties (SLD) including profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD). The school serves the community of Hammersmith and Fulham and accepts pupils from a range of other boroughs. Pupils attending Jack Tizard School either have a statement of special educational needs and receive annual reviews, or they attend on an assessment placement. The school population consists of pupils from a range of social, cultural and ethnic backgrounds.
