Both suit any powdered-milk machine — the Matrix and Vitro ranges, and the soluble canisters on a Dr Coffee T200 or F30. Barista Gold is the lower-fat option and gives a cleaner finish in black coffee; Milfresh Gold foams a little more richly, which shows in a cappuccino.

Machines that do not take fresh milk need a granulated milk that foams properly and does not clog the canister. We stock the two that do: Milfresh Gold, the UK brand leader, and Barista Gold, a freeze-dried skimmed milk with under 2% fat against the 30% typical of vending whiteners. Both dissolve cleanly and give a cappuccino that tastes like milk rather than powder.
Which one for which machine
Storage
Keep it dry and sealed. A 500g bag typically lasts a 50-person office a week or two; a case of ten is the sensible standing order.

Questions we get asked
The questions buyers put to us before they order. If yours is not here, call and someone who knows the answer will pick up.
Can I use vending milk in a fresh-milk machine?
No. Fresh-milk machines need a fridge and real milk. Vending milk is for machines with a soluble canister.
Is it suitable for people avoiding dairy?
No — both are made from skimmed milk. Tell us if you need a non-dairy alternative and we will source one.
