Cookie Policy

This page lists every cookie the Coffee@Work website sets, what it is for and how long it lasts. Most are needed to run the shop. One group is optional, and it is only used if you say yes.
What cookies are
A cookie is a small text file a website asks your browser to keep, so it can recognise you from one page to the next. Without them, a website forgets what is in your basket every time you click a link.
Cookies we always use
These keep the basket, checkout and your account working. The law treats them as strictly necessary, so they do not need your consent.

Optional cookies
Only if you press Accept. WooCommerce, the software our shop runs on, notes which page or link brought you to the site, for example a Google search or an email we sent. If you then place an order, that note is kept with the order so we can see which pages lead to orders. It is not used for advertising and it is not shared with anyone.

If you choose Essential only, these are never set.
What we do not use
No advertising cookies, no social media trackers and no third-party analytics. The website’s fonts come from Google Fonts: your browser asks Google for the font files, which shares your IP address with Google, but no cookies are set.
Two small things are kept in your browser’s session storage rather than in cookies: whether you chose the grid or list view in the shop, and a note that stops an animation on your order page from repeating. Both are deleted when you close the tab.
Changing your choice
Use Cookie settings at the bottom of any page to change your answer at any time. You can also delete cookies in your browser’s settings; if you delete caw_cookies we will ask again.
